چکیده

This study used impedance spectroscopy measurements to extract the electrical properties of phytoplankton cells in suspension. Experimental were acquired, and single-shell model was applied specific membrane capacitance, cytoplasm permittivity, conductivity assumingly spherical suspension utilizing Maxwell’s mixture theory a controlled volume fraction cells. The suspensions algae measured at different frequencies ranging from 3 kHz 10 MHz values compared investigate differences between two types by characterizing their change permittivity capacitance. Differentiation healthy control nitrogen-depleted cultured attempted. extracted capacitances Chlamydomonas Selenastrum 15.5 ± 3.6 40.6 12.6 mF m− 2 respectively. Successful differentiation based on capacitance species achieved. However, no significant difference noticed nitrogen-abundant cultures.

Characterization of Physiological Glucose Concentration Using Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy

Non-invasive glucose monitoring is crucial for effective diabetes mellitus treatment while a sound correlation of a non-invasive parameter to glucose level variation is quite challenging. This paper presents characterization of glucose concentrations using Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy (EIS) in three different solutions: 1) 0.9% NaCl, 2) Saline (NaCl 1.3gm, KCl 0.75gm, Na3C6H5O7 1.45gm, D-g...

Electrical Impedance Spectroscopy for Electro-Mechanical Characterization of Conductive Fabrics

When we use a conductive fabric as a pressure sensor, it is necessary to quantitatively understand its electromechanical property related with the applied pressure. We investigated electromechanical properties of three different conductive fabrics using the electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). We found that their electrical impedance spectra depend not only on the electrical properties of t...

Electrical Characteristics of Biomodified Electrodes using Nonfaradaic Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy

We demonstrate a nonfaradaic electrochemical impedance spectroscopy measurement of biochemically modified gold plated electrodes using a two-electrode system. The absence of any redox indicator in the impedance measurements provide more precise and accurate characterization of the measured bioanalyte at molecular resolution. An equivalent electrical circuit of the electrodeelectrolyte interface...
